Travertine Maintenance Services in Huntsville | MARBLELIFE
Keep travertine clean, protected, and looking its best across Huntsville
Travertine is a classic stone, but it needs ongoing care to stay bright, even in color, and beautiful. Because it is naturally porous, it can take on moisture, oils, and grime that gradually dull the surface and make routine cleaning feel like a losing battle. In Huntsville, entryway grit, seasonal slush, hard water minerals, and frequent use in kitchens and bathrooms can speed up wear if the stone is not maintained with the right products and process. MARBLELIFE® Huntsville offers travertine maintenance programs that preserve the look of your stone through scheduled professional cleaning, protective sealing, light refinishing, and small repairs when needed, all performed with stone appropriate, non acidic methods.
Each service visit begins with an on site review of traffic patterns, current finish condition, and any problem areas such as dull lanes, minor staining, or open pits. From there, we perform the maintenance steps your surfaces need, which may include deep cleaning, targeted spot work, gentle mechanical scrubbing, reapplying sealer where appropriate, and touching up small voids to keep the surface more uniform. We also provide straightforward guidance on travertine friendly cleaners and daily care habits so your floors, showers, and counters stay easier to maintain between visits. With a customized plan from MARBLELIFE of Huntsville, travertine can remain a consistent, polished feature of your home or facility year after year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Travertine maintenance is a planned service that includes cleaning, protecting, and caring for your stone so it continues to look attractive and perform well. Because travertine is naturally porous and can open new voids over time, regular maintenance helps prevent soil buildup, staining, and dullness while extending the life of your surfaces.
A typical maintenance visit may include inspection, professional cleaning, gentle machine agitation or hand scrubbing, spot treatments for stains or discoloration, polishing where appropriate, and application of a penetrating sealer, along with care recommendations tailored to your travertine.
Most homes benefit from professional maintenance once every twelve to twenty four months, depending on foot traffic, the presence of pets or children, and how consistently stone safe cleaners are used. Busy commercial spaces or heavily used kitchen and entry areas may need more frequent service to keep surfaces looking their best.
MARBLELIFE maintains travertine floors, showers, countertops, backsplashes, lobbies, and other interior and exterior surfaces found in both residential and commercial properties, including hotels, offices, restaurants, and medical facilities.
Yes. When appropriate, MARBLELIFE applies professional grade penetrating sealers during maintenance to help reduce staining from spills and daily use. Sealers work together with proper cleaning habits to support better resistance to common household and commercial contaminants.
Maintenance services can often lessen the appearance of light scratches, etching, and general dullness through careful cleaning, polishing, and spot treatments. Deep damage or heavy wear may require a separate restoration service, and your technician will explain the best option after inspecting the stone.
Timing depends on the size and condition of the area, but many residential projects are completed within a few hours, while larger homes or commercial properties can take most of the day. Your MARBLELIFE team will provide a time estimate once they understand the scope of work.
MARBLELIFE uses modern equipment, professional containment practices, and wet processes to minimize dust and keep your home or business as clean as possible while work is performed. Technicians protect adjacent surfaces and clean up thoroughly before the project is considered complete.
Between visits, use MARBLELIFE recommended stone safe cleaners that are free from acids, harsh solvents, and waxes. Avoid generic household products that can etch, dull, or leave residue on natural stone, and follow the routine care guidance provided by your technician after your service.
You can request an estimate by calling the MARBLELIFE® Huntsville office, submitting a request through the local website, or using the request estimate button on the national MARBLELIFE site. A team member will review your needs, answer questions, and schedule a convenient time to evaluate your travertine surfaces in person.

Never knew they could look so good.Posted on Ben NewellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Back in January, we had Marblelife of Huntsville come out and work on our master bathroom. They deep-cleaned the shower, and all the tile throughout the bathroom, then Colorsealed all the grout throughout the entire bathroom to brighten up the room and give the whole room a fresh newer feeling. Jeremy, the technician, was extremely detail-oriented and took his time to ensure that everything was done right. He was also genuinely one of the nicest people I've ever met. He did a great job and I would definitely work with Marblelife again.Posted on Helen HahnTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am absolutely thrilled with the miraculous work performed on my two pieces of marble. The coffee table had etchings and damage from improper storage for several years. Marble has always fascinated me and now when I look at my table it brings me so much joy! The other piece of marble sits on top of an antique oak safe. It had stains and cracks. I knew there was beauty hidden in there and Brad Hall worked his magic and brought it back to life! Now, I don’t want to cover it up with anything! My mind is officially blown with the transformation of my marble. You can trust Marblelife to give 💯. Thank you, Brad Hall, you rock!Posted on Kim StearnsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Made our travertine shower look better than new, technician was very professional.Posted on Fiona OmalleyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had high expectations from reading about Marblelife and speaking with the owner and they exceeded them. We have terrazzo floors in several rooms of our 56 year old home that were quite worn, dingy and severely cracked in MANY places. A lot of the cracks were long and very wide (1/4 to 1/2 inch.) My hope was that the cracks would be less noticeable. At the jobs finish the cracks were not only less noticeable but actually gone. It was impossible to see them! It also was considerably cheaper to have the floors refinished than having to do a new floor overlay. As a bonus, the original color and luster of the floors was restored. I am delighted! I cannot say enough good things about Marblelife and the owner, Brad Hall. I highly recommend them.Posted on Rayford VaughnTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were very pleased with Marblelife Huntsville - they removed a large glass walk in shower door and frame and repaired and re-grouted the entire bathroom. Conner worked three days on the project. They were punctual, responsive, pleasant and Brad priced the job fairly. I highly recommend them and would use them again.Load more
